Yee Von Chan - Autumn Spirit from Whispers in Thy Ears series, 2010
started this little fairy back in august or something and only just now got around to finishing it. haha.. some times finishing something is the hardest thing to do. now I just need to wait for a clear day so I can take her outside for some pictures!
"Caberfeidh" is Scottish gaelic for "deer head" and is pronounced "cahber-fey". Muckle just means big! (It’s also one of my favourite words.)
Muckle abdabs are 3” cubed creepy Halloween releases from Magweno Art Dolls. Caberfeidh abdabs are new, featuring an antlered and stylised deer skull and feet. They have soft, squashy bodies filled with polyester stuffing and steel shot (for balance) and hard, resin heads and feet, painted with acrylics and varnished.
The linked listing is for a custom caberfeidh abdab, you get to pick the body and mane colour! Turnaround is a maximum of 10 days. Pictured above is a black/black caberfeidh and a black/white caberfeidh. Other available colours for the body are rust, pumpkin, brown and white.
yay! finished another doll! The dress is made from cotton fabric and decorated with beads and embroidery.
The doll herself is porcelain and strung together with elastic cord.
